You can rent some equipment at our place! Try SUP - Stand Up Paddling, or canoe, fishing or mountainbiking. We also offer guided forest walks, outdoor aquarelle painting, fishing rods, sauna and pool and we can give you tips on what to discover on your own in the area. During your stay you will also have acces to some garden games for free.
Stand up paddling or canoeing on the lake that is only 4 min walk from our accomodation. Stand up paddling is a super fun and easy way to enjoy the nature and get some exercise at the same time!
We have 2 stand up paddle boards and 2 canoes for rent at our place. At the lake you can safely practice your technique and then set of on a tour exploring the wildlife and area around the lake or if you are brave - take them down to the canal and head out into the archipelago!
Our 2 canoes are big and steady. Fits 3 adults. Lifevests included.

Find out why the Swedes loves to spend so much time in the forest.
The Swedes really enjoy spending quality time outdoors. Forest walks, hiking with backpacks bringing gas stoves and food to cook outdoors or to pick mushrooms and berries.
We have large forest areas close to our accomodation that are easily available by foot from our houses. The marked hiking trail "Värmdöleden" is accessibel a short walk from us. There you can hike for hours in the forest without risk of getting lost :-)
We can also give you some tips on other places to visit. Just ask us.
Take your family on a trip to our place! Discover the forests and lake nearby and explore the islands in the Stockholm Archipelago by ferry from Stavsnäs harbour. Spring, summer, autumn or winter - all seasons have their own charm. Our houses are warm and cozy all year around.
Rent a bike and discover the area.
We have 4 bikes for rent that you can use to explore the area. There are lots of small roads and forest paths where you can go on a tour to discover the surroundings.

Go fishing in the nearby lake or in the Baltic Sea.
We have fishing rods for rent if you want to try to get a pike or perch for dinner. At our lake you can fish from the rocks or rent one of our canoes.
In the Baltic sea the fishing is free for everybody, so you can just take a walk down to the canal and follow the road and go down to the water here and there to try your luck. Or you can bring the fishing rod on one of the ferries further out in the archipelago and try to catch some Baltic Herring during the early summer.
